1998 Daewoo Lanos 1.6 SX Auto 3-door
Not long left for this Lanos, a snapped timing belt has condemned this reasonably tidy, low mileage car to the scrap yard, due to being uneconomical to repair. Only 53,000 miles in 14 years means this car has probably never had its original belt replaced.
This is the second Lanos we have scrapped for a snapped timing belt since I've been working here, the last being a 51-plate example about 18 months ago.
