1984 Nissan Micra 1.0 GL K10

I actually blurted out 'Oh, Yes!' to myself when I saw this in the car park on my way into the show. (There were people around, so they probably heard me! lol).

I've never seen it before, and I'm not convinced it's a local car (though I could be wrong. I should have looked at the tax disc - where it was last taxed is the best indication I find for determining if a car is local to where it currently is). It's presence here is a good indication for its future (and its condition of course, it looks to be regularly valeted). The original number plates were from a Nissan garage in Ely, which is in Cambridge AFAIK, so it's driven a long distance at some point in its life. I think the mileage was about 48k, I really should have spent more time looking at this as it was easily the best thing I've photo'd today and it wasnt even part of the show. Unfortunately, when I came out of the show I made a beeline for where it was parked and found a boring Meriva in its space, it had left before me. Good to see the massive steering lock, at least it wont get nicked, they are an easy target, I was lucky not to lose mine once. I really like these early pre-pre-facelift models, I was tempted to leave a note on it, but of course I've just had to scrap my own beloved K10 due to lack of space, so that was never really going to happen. Seeing this makes me want mine back :(
