Hammer Drone Upgraded
Instructed to build armored suits, Ivan "Whiplash" Vanko tells Justin Hammer, "Drone better". But in secret, Vanko further develops the prototype Hammer Drone as a personalized armored suit complete with energy whips to exact his revenge on Tony Stark's Iron Man.
The Hammer Drone was really just a background piece in "Iron Man 2". We saw some video of a very unsuccessful test, and there's a warehouse of them when Vanko joins forces with Hammer. But all the action shots are handled by the upgraded drones (Army, Air Force, etc.). This figure is as close as we'll get to a movie version of Whiplash's armor (just needs a new head, really), and when my kid and I play, this is him.
The photo is another of my "life on the road" phone camera shots. No special lighting, shot in the hotel workout room, with minor effects on the eyes and arc reactor. Waking up early pays off.
