Watching the Wind

Grunt scans the sky for updrafts as he prepares to launch a recon flight on the Falcon glider.

 

I wasn't exactly looking to replace my long-gone glider but got one for pretty cheap recently. I'm afraid to even look at it, that it might fall apart. Even 25 years ago, they were pretty fragile. So I'm going to trace the shape on some foamboard, add the pilot's frame and see if a surrogate glider will actually fly.
