Identity in Society
Self Portrait . Every element made myself by either photographically gathering material or work in photoshop. the image on one hand represents my passions, of course photography, astronomy and music. I see myself as what I do, a product of my hobbies and passions.
However in stark contrast these hobbies and interests also play a big part in my on going procrastination. I have started to take on board ideas which the renown psychologist Stephen Covey touches on in his book '7 habits of highly efficient people', whereby he explains that life (mainly working life) can be broken down into boxes of urgency and important to achieve self set/career goals. I live most of my life in the box labeled non-urgent and unimportant, activities which do not help towards my life goals. One of which is to become a successful Photographer/Illustrator.
