Sometimes the garages of big old homes are very ordinary and boring, but sometimes you find something different. This belongs to a lovely old home that has been turned into a bed and breakfast. The first thing I noticed was that the roof is flat, uncommon here because we get lots of snow. The double doors were replace within the last five years with a single door and it looks quite nice, but if you examine it you'll see that the design painted on it to match the detail of the house is strictly for show. The door is made of boards that are two feet wide, hinged together and hung horizontally.
