I chose this image because since atoms are amazingly durable I thought of stretching a rubber band! I thought of this because since atoms are in everything, including rubber bands. This means that by stretching a rubber band it wont break, until you stretch it to the point where it snaps. But still then in lasts and you can use it over and over again!

2 questions that I have is that 1st off when a rubber band gets really old after a while and starts breaking into little pieces what does this mean, with the atoms? And why does this happen?
