HONDA mc 1978-1979 CBX1000Z CANDY GLORY RED 'Ex. IAN KIRK' 007
I managed to trace the current owner of this bike with the help of the 'CBX Enthusiasts group. It used to belong to Ian Kirk. It sat in his showroom for years. People often asked if it was for sale, but the answer was always no. The current owner has asked me not to show the bikes registration plate on flickr.
In 2012 the engine, carbs & brakes were overhauled. The original Honda exhaust system (which needs some attention) is currently in dry storage while the owner ponders what to do with it.
I have to say from what I can see in these 640x480 pictures, the bike looks like brand new.
