1975 Vauxhall FE Victor 2300SE Saloon
England
The last of the Victors was the 1972-78 FE Series, now 2 inches longer.
The FE Victor shared its floorpan and its basic bodyshell architecture with the German Opel Rekord D and Australian LH Torana (therefore they look superficially similar) but all of the exterior panels were unique to the Victor and thus not interchangeable.
Vauxhall engines were used; 4 cylinder models were; 1759cc Victor 1800 and 2279cc Victor 2300 and 6 cylinder 3294cc Ventora.
The front end on the FD had a slim bumper that bisected the grille, with a third of the grille and the side-lights (on quad headlamp models) below the bumper line.
In 1976 models became the VX1800, VX2300, the 6 cyl discontinued, the top of the line was the VX 2300GLS with quad headlights. The update got a simplified grille and revised headlights
