The VS Commodore was built from April 1995-August 1997. Visually very little changed from the VR, enhanced grille, ecotec badges, new ECOTEC engine, more power and better economy.
With the Series II VS, Supercharged V6 available.

S; 3.8 6 cyl and SS; 5.0 V8, full body kit, sports interior, FE2 suspension, alloys
The ute was available in Standard and 'S', also the longer wheelbase Statesman and Caprice Sedans.
HSV built performance versions for Holden, VS models were; Manta, Clubsport, GTS, GTS/R, Senator, Maloo ute and Statesman based Grange.
