Rough Road
This is Engineer Pass Road. The first 8 miles on the Ouray side is very difficult. This was not the worst area I went over.
Full disclosure, I shot this through the windshield. There are not really good places to pull over on this road and shoot photos. It looks wide in this area, but there is usually only one way you can get through these areas.
This road should not be done by inexperienced drivers. You can bypass this area by driving to Silverton, than to Animas Forks Ghost Town, than do the North cutoff road to Engineer Pass Road. A lot easier, if you can handle a ledge road.
