In amongst traffic is Stonehavens most recent addition and its first Profile, 53221. The Volvo B7R was part of an exchange that has seen Interurban 52416 move to Aberdeen. Rather than do the 107 like the Interurban, the seatbelts on the coach are allowing it to be allocated to the off peak X7 (Stonehaven) short workings duty that interworks with Mackie Academy school contract SS841 and then back on to peak evening runs between Aberdeen and Stonehaven.
This will be presumably release the Enviro400 on to the 7 and minimise the use of Olympians on the Coastrider 7 service. If last week is anything to go by, the Olympians are now appearing on the 107 giving a double deck alternative view along the coast to the Elites on the X7.
