Adult figtree

Moreton Bay figtree in the Sydney botanical gardens. This is an adult version of the infant figtrees recently planted at Blaxland Park, near Homebush & the Sydney Olympic Park. It grows to a massive size and has impressive buttress roots. This one was probably planted in the mid to late 1800s. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ficus_macrophylla

There are also Port Jackson figtrees which look very similar.
