Definition Thesaurus (in blue)

We have given two general definitions of "concept" and "life", without specifying the features of thesauri that I find important

(to set it apart from the terminology and semantics)

 

1. terms and concepts are deliberately restricted in scope to selected meanings

 

2. "a thesaurus should first list all the concepts [...] in a given domain (no reference to this point in the definitions)

 

3. It seem to me that preferred and non-preferred term should be included in the definition of term, not only by a NOTE

 

4. paradigmatic relationship

"are organized so that hierarchical and associative paradimgatic relationship between concepts, or equivalent paradigmatic relationship between terms are made explicit".

 

5. I agree to remove the term "formally" (maybe not organized !) - but we could say that this structure is "represented by a system of tags, symbols or abbreviations" ?
