Kodak

I visited Kodak Research Labs in Rochester NY this week. This is a view of part of the manufacturing facilities, seen from the visitor parking lot. The vision/imaging lab is still functioning despite the bankruptcy, but morale is low due to uncertainty over a new round of layoffs scheduled in two weeks. A couple former students of mine are working there, so my fingers are crossed they will make it through (or will at least find a job soon elsewhere if they are part of the cuts).
