The figures used for Bruce, Talia and Ra's during Bruce's time training with the League of Assassins in the Heir to the Demon prologue.

 

I somewhat deliberately chose to have Bruce mimic Ra's a bit in terms of look to show the influence Ra's had on his life. Not to mention, in my view anyway, showing subtly that Ra's intended Bruce to be his successor. Thus later on, when he returns to Gotham, Bruce removes the beard signalling independence and choosing to dictate life on his own terms not though of Ra's Al-Ghul. It probably means nothing to most people, but it was just a nice bit of imagery that I rather enjoyed.
