Princess Tree

Also known as empress tree and royal paulownia, princess tree produces attractive flowers and very large leaves that make it a popular ornamental species. Fast-growing and able to thrive in poor soil, princess tree invades roadsides, stream banks, forest edges, and other disturbed areas. It is seen here in Henderson County, North Carolina.
