6601. We found this accompanying image in our files, we believe from the HMAS CERBERUS Museum collection generously made available to us by the Curator, Warrant Officer Martin Grogan, RANR. For some reason we cannot find a previous use - perhaps it was meant to b e rejoined with these companion images. We are inclined to think these images were taken during the Monte Bello Atomic Test monitoring fleet's voyage across the Great Australian Bight in Oct. 1952.
They conducted a major review in Port Phillip Bay on Oct. 27 that year, as seen in previous images on the Photostream.
