1941: The two camouflage schemes of HMAS SYDNEY [II] - Diagram by Brett Morrow.

5208. Contributor Brett Morrow has created this marvelous diagram of the two camouflage schemes of HMAS SYDNEY [II], the second scheme being a late discovery for many, perhaps most of us. It was applied in August-Sept, 1941, less than three months before her November 19 loss.

In putting this together, Brett hastens to point out that his ship elevations were first based on drawings done by Alex ["Dash'] at the authoritative World Naval Ships Forums website, where we're all members, and whose Moderators and folk have always given great support to this RAN Centenary Photostream.
