Micro Machines model railway mechanism

Underside view of the Micro Machines Power Train City layout, the belt drive is inside the oval shaped cover and the motor has a worm driving a gearbox inside the large step-shape cover. Lots of friction in this lot and when it goes wrong, you're stuffed, because spare parts are difficult to find. It would help if Hasbro could make them available along with a range of new trains.
