When hatches cross -[ HMM ]-

Getting real close to the file included in my Leatherman Wave multitool.

 

Every single standalone file I have is of the single-cut type. This file is double-cut, resulting in the diamond texture seen here. The bow-tie shape at the base of the pattern adds a distinctive touch to the overall pattern.

 

Not surprisingly, this file appears much larger than it actually is. The section shown here is about ½' (12.7mm) wide by 1¼" (31.75mm) long.
