Magnet city -[ HMM ]-

Buckycubes, the cube-shaped version of the Buckyballs neodymium magnet adult desk fidget toy, formed to look like a city skyline or, alternatively, an older spectrum analyzer display. The sculpture was built on the edge of a horse-headed pry bar, held at an angle in the Panavise and lit with a hand-held cluster of miniature Christmas lights assembled in an improvised holder made of a corrugated cardboard sheet and gaffer's tape.

 

Each cube is just 5/32" (4mm) overall, placing the entire work well within the 3-inch (76.2mmm) maximum.
