Lincolnshire Road Car 1904 JVL 619H. Bristol VRTSL6G ECW H39/31F.

Working outside at this point, after the removal of the lower-deck floor in bay four, and the application of some oxy-primer, on 21st May 2006.

The generator (from its Playbus days) had been situated in the top-left corner of the photo, which accounts for the shorter than normal wooden panel in front of the o/s/r wheels. Luckily I was able to take a reference from the near-side, when it came to re-building this area.

It was only because of the hole created by the generator, that I first thought about replacing the lower-deck floor, but once it was out, everything was so much easier to get at, making it well worth the effort.

The trusty needle-gun can be seen towards the top of the photo, and this effortleesly removed all the built-up 'crud' from the chassis.
