Invented by the US military my backside!!

 

The Internet is a Transistor Radio.

 

The first use of the word 'INTERNET" was via a Transistor radio.

 

I owned one in 1970/71. I had seen it first in my local Radio-supplier for at least 6 months prior to this. Thus I believe we can evidence 1970, definitely 1971.

 

At least 3-4 years before the US military can claim to coin the word.

 

The Internet is a Transistor Radio.

 

I owned the Internet with three weeks paper-round money.
