Battery door
These photos are from a modification I have done to my Nikon D70 in order to use the XP18000 as a external battery pack for long exposure work, time-lapse photography, astrophotography, etc.
I had to cut a section of the battery door out in order to make room for the connector.
**WARNING** This will likely void your warranty, although these doors can be found on ebay so if something does go wrong with your camera you can get a new door before shipping it to Nikon for warranty repairs.
