Marina Barrage, Singapore : The brainchild of Late Mr. Lee Kuan Yew and inaugurated by his son Mr. Hsien Loong on 31 Oct 2008, Marina Barrage is an outstanding engineering marvel to use and co-exist with nature and city life. Built on the mouth of Marina canal it is the largest catchment of Singapore with manifold uses like Flood control, water supply, recreational sports, family outing place, nature park, running track, bicycle track and many more.
