Grays Reef - 2
Another view of the Grays Reef light. It is interesting to note that the ~40 foot tall radio antenna that was atop this lighthouse when I photographed it two years ago has been removed. Ironically, despite the fact that the USCG owns the lighthouse, they had to wrangle with the Michigan State Historical Society to secure permission to remove the radio antenna tower. They finally secured permission since the tower was in danger of falling over!
