Learning how to See... is what I've been practicing a lot lately. Captain Suresh, a phenomenal photographer and teacher whom I found on Flickr has been sharing his knowledge and tips on making photographs better. Learning how to see is one that really stuck to me.

Sorry Captain for taking this step w/o asking you, but I would like to dedicate this image to you. I had taken this picture some time ago, but did not really process it. Then, I studied your images, and thru the knowledge you shared , I started experimenting and came up with this. Please let me know if I'm in the right direction.
About the image: Was wandering around a state park after a fresh snow fall, and the sun just started to come up.. I noticed a few grass stalks starting to glisten as a result and thought it would make an interesting subject. At first, I took images of the bunch, but did not really look as interesting as I had in my mind, and then I zoomed in, separated this one particular stalk and photographed it.
As always, your constructive criticism is much appreciated and more than welcome.
Thanks for all your views and comments.
