RIP PYA 578!

By 1972 Leyland Royal Tiger PYA 578 was off the road after 19 years of service. This shot shows the Heaver 'New Mark' body to good effect and its similarity to Burlingham's Seagull.

 

Looking rather forlorn PYA was soon to be sold to a breaker in the village of Coleford, a few miles away, where she would be broken up.
