Engineering building at UNAM, the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico, in Mexico City. The campus, built from 1949 to 1952, was designated by UNESCO a World Heritage site for its combination of modernist architecture and murals inspired in Mexico's pre-Hispanic past. This is one of the few places in the world (Brasilia being the most obvious other) built entirely within the principles of modernist urban planning.
