Here's a close up shot of the rear assembly and steering levers.

 

The large holes in the steering lever mounts (bearings fir around them and allow the steering levers to pivot) accommodate a pair of carabiners that link the mesh seat to the frame. An additional connection is made at the top of the roll cage, bottom of the frame, and up front, below the bottom bracket.

 

This image also shows the array of belt pulleys necessary to gear this motor down to a reasonable RPM.
