Boulia to the Hamilton Pub December 1977

Soaking rain had transformed the Kennedy Development Road between Boulia and the Hamilton Hotel into a black soil bog. Although only forty five miles it took three days to winch the Holden panel van above and a flat top truck carrying a friend's Mazda 1300 with the above Landrover. Once past Hamilton it was an easy drive all the way to the East coast.
