176:365:2.1 We call that Tuesday

My bestie, Rob, loves the phrase, "We call that Tuesday . . . "

 

As in, "Oh my God, I can't believe I drank four vodka martinis."

 

"We call that Tuesday."

 

Well, it is, indeed, Tuesday. And on Tuesdays, I generally tutor back-to-back math kiddos. I did that today, though with the holiday week it was morning, rather than evening (kinda nice).

 

My second hour of math was with my algebra scholar and we were working on systems of linear equations with three variables. We did 7 systems as well as reviewing some concepts she continues to work on from the units previous to this one. I will see her again on Friday this week and I left her with four systems (translation for those who blessedly do not have the nerd mutation: groups of three or more equations where you have to manipulate all the equations to solve for all the variables given) left to solve still. Told her we would go over those on Friday

 

Then I did some Thanksgiving pie-supply shopping and got home a bit late for lunch. As I munched on some kale and a sandwich I decided to solve those systems for myself. You know, for relaxing fun while I ate lunch.

 

This is what I do for fun now. We call that Tuesday here.

 

Yeeeeaahhh. I need a job.
