So, today i had an appointment at Apple to get some parts replaced. Note to all: never, ever, ever make a genius bar/repair appointment on a product release day. WHOA. the swarms of people were impressive. Because half the staff were redistributed to help with iPads, my repair took a little longer, but i didn't care as long as it got done today.
i used the time to do some spring shopping. i told myself that i was only looking for skirts, and i did find one (skirts are working well for me these days . . . can't buy pants until i know how much space the new brace will take up) but somehow ended up with 4 tops too. i also bought a pair of flats so that i have something to wear to the wedding next week.
After all that, i was hungry! My favorite coffee and tea place had this giant white chocolate macadamia nut cookie. Look at this! i had already gnawed on quite a bit of it! Officially, i don't believe in white chocolate, but when paired with macadamia nuts, i suspend disbelief. Gimme a cookie this large, and i'll tell you i believe in unicorns and the abominable snowman.
