Aiel Spears

The spearheads were made by cutting the shape out of a 1/4" thick piece of bass wood. They are about 12" long (plus a 2" tag to hold them to the shaft) and 2 1/2" wide at the bottom. The edges were sanded down to make them sharp, and they were primed with grey spray primer and finished with Rust-o-leum Black Hammered Iron spray paint.

The shafts are 3" craft dowels that have been stained. A notch was cut in the top for the spearheads to fit in, and the tag and shaft were wrapped with leather cord, and the ends were tied and secured with glue.
