On seven acres in Houston, Hope Farms grows healthy produce in the midst of one of the city’s largest food deserts and trains U.S. Military Veterans to become urban agripreneurs. The project is a critical part of Recipe for Success Foundation’s work to combat childhood obesity by changing the way children understand, appreciate and eat their food and mobilizing the community to provide healthier diets for children. www.recipe4success.org
