I don't usually comment on my own images. However, I was really surprised when this one came up from my scanner at how it came out. I would like to have it printed and mounted, but to date have been more than displeased with the quality of digital output of my analog monochrome images. There are some scratches on the negative that I fixed with PS, so I can't have it printed directly in someone's dark room.
Any suggestions?
UPDATE June 2011:
A friend printed this image out on several types of paper. The glossy version looked blah, but the watercolor paper and Japanese art paper versions bring out exactly the qualities I sought in this image.
