JEB Stuart

Confederate Major General who was considered the eyes and ears of Robert E Lee. He will always be linked though to the loss at the Battle of Gettysburg. He was seperated from Robert E Lee during the battle for a long period of time and could not tell Robert E Lee where Union soldiers were stationed. This would allow Union forces to hold off Confederate charges. Many people blaimed him for the loss. He was shot and killed not even a year later at the Battle of Yellow Tavern which was fought in Virginia. He is buried in Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Va.
