Untertürkheim, Rotenberg, Flak battery command post

In order to secure the area of Stuttgart, several Flak-units were estabilshed in September 1939 around the city. They belonged to the Flak-Regiment 25 (Ludwigsburg) until May 1940. A battery command-post was established in Untertürkheim-Rotenberg, most likely for either Reserve-Flakabteilung 251 or Reserve-Flakabteilung 252. The Flak battery near Bad Canstatt became the 2./s.436 (o) = 2nd Batterie, heavy Flak-Abteilung 436 Blickbatterie.
It is unclear where in Rotenberg the command post had been established and whether it was used during the entire war here or relocated at some point.
The officer who took the photo was later transferred to Esslingen (commanding the battery Sulzgries) and then to Heilbronn (Neckargartach), see other posts in the album Neckargartach.
