This is Me
I am a little late for the weekly theme, but I didn’t get this done last week and I wanted to introduce myself. It’s been a few years since I did a “proper” selfie, so I wanted to update my “official” Flickr photo as well.
I am Linda, and am a 60-something widow. The past few years have been full of changes for me, as my husband passed away and I moved to an easier to maintain home in a subdivision after 36 years in the country. I am adjusting to “city living” and love my new home and neighborhood. I discovered Flickr in 2013, and photography and the Flickr community has gotten me through some rough patches. I have been challenged with chronic fatigue syndrome and chemical sensitivites for 20 years now, and I love photography because it is something creative I can do that matches my energy level. On my good days I get out my DSLR and experiment, and on my “bad” days, I can take something easy with my iPhone. I have completed two 365s so far, and attempted several others. Last year I only got halfway. This year I am taking it a day at a time, and we’ll see what happens. :-)
