Rocking Old Time
I’m at a music camp in Asheville, North Carolina this week. We have “workshops” druing the day, and then people can be seen and heard jamming around campus, especially in the evenings and late into the night. I’ve been playing my fiddle, mountain dulcimer and banjo ukelele all week, and having a great time. Old Time is the traditional Southern Appalachian style of music that’s been handed down through gemerations of mountain people. I came here for the first time 15 years ago, and fell in love with it. It’s turned me from a “classical violinist” into a fiddler.
I obviously have chosen to interepret “rock” as a verb for this challenge. With all of this rocking going on around me this week, I had too!
