Just an opinion...

HDR is a very appealing even "addictive" process… truly a powerful tool in photography. However it can easily get out of hand.

My dilemma is always at what point does the processing stop… when do I cross the line from an image that looks real to an image that's from a fantasy world… heavy, over-saturated...

Rules of composition and beauty are still the directions to follow… and the application of technology is just to enhance what is already a good photograph.

Great photography is still a skill.
