Stage Lights - Filtered
Theatrical filtered light can make all the difference in whether a scene on stage looks realistic or manufactured. I followed the changes in lighting during this concert on Sunday afternoon. It was a tribute to the Count Basie Orchestra with drummer Butch Miles, who was the drummer with Count Basie for 15 years. The various changes in lighting were created with the series of filtered spotlights overhead and a few remote spotlights that were used to highlight soloists. I think they did a great job creating a vintage Count Basie look.
