Ribbon Jumble

An ever-growing collection of fabric ribbons from a unique "12 Days of Christmas" tradition that my friends and I started a few years ago. We are the closest of friends but we live so far apart, me on the East Coast, Crow on the West Coast and Alison in the middle in SW NY State. Every year, we exchange gifts every day of the 12 days before Christmas. This means that I buy 12 gifts for each of them and vice versa and send a "12 Days" box to each other. No rules... our gifts can be home-made or purchased, silly or serious. We wrap our gifts and place numbers on each one, 1 - 12, so we will know which gift to open each day. And each night, we go online and open our gifts and chat a little about how cool/useful/pretty/silly or yummy each gift is.

 

To make the wrapping easier, my friends sewed some beautiful fabric gift bags and tied them with these pretty ribbons. All of our gift wrapping materials are reusable year after year. In this photo are some of the ribbons I like the most.
