Flexible Flyers
You know what they say about "someone's trash is someone else's treasure"...? Well, it's true! We still have a dump in town, although they refer to it as the Seabrook "Transfer" Station, and once in awhile I will bring a bag of trash there, usually on trash pickup day when I forget to put it out... Well, I stopped there last week and these two vintage Flexible Flyer sleds were leaning up against the building. I made a comment about what good shape they were in and why would anyone want to throw them away? The person working there said, "If you want them, you can have them." So, I brought them home!
I used to have one as a kid and I them used as Christmas decorations today. Not sure if I will try to resell them or keep them, but either way, they are both treasures to me!
