"Pride in The Hood"

An ornament in the hood of a car (Pontiac) and I believe is from the 60's.

I did some research and I could not find

one similar to this...

I think they were a little bit different and not sure if it has to do with the model,year...etc.

I took this picture in a car show a couple of years ago and I knew I had to paint it...

I really don't know why it took me too long for me to decide to finally paint it...

I'd appreciate some information about the exact time when this beauty's were running around...
