The double diagonal planking and hard chine V hull may give a clue to her history, she was more than likely an ex military vessel, this type of construction was most commonly used in World War Two Motor Torpedo Boats, Motor Gunboats, Motor Launches, RAF Seaplane Tenders and Rescue Launches.
