RMR Genset Testing
Eastbound P610 with the RMR 8013, Pride of Quesnel, and NREX 2020 will shortly cross the Fraser River at Matsqui for the trip East on CP's Cascade Sub. For the 2010/2011 seasons, Rocky Mountaineer tested out NREX 2020, a 3GS21B genset unit, from National Railway Equipment. The test did not lead to RMR purchasing a genset.
