A former RAF Helicopter pilot instructor who is now an author, is soon to publish a follow-up book to "A Day Above Yorkshire", with another book entitled "A Day Above The Lake District". Both depicting a day in the life of an Air Ambulance pilot, with £5 from each sale going to the Great Northern Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).
The books also are to generate awareness of various Mountain Rescue Teams. The author, John Nowell, has selected a couple of my Red Arrows photos (to add a contrast of shots from the ground) to be included in the book. This shot of the RED ARROWS at Windermere Air Show is one of my photos he's chosen.
ALSO, he's starting on another new book entitled ..... "HOW TO PHOTOGRAPH FLYING MACHINES" .... and I've been given a double page spread to display some of my pics and some space for descriptive text . So pleased that this shot is to be included in the book as it's one I'm proud of.!
