St. Pete Times Forum - Nosebleeds HDR

I normally don't do HDR, I find it tacky and overprocessed looking. I do, however, recognize the need for it in situations where you cannot control the light levels, such as a hockey arena. This is one of the only reasons I still shoot film...the dynamic range on prosumer digital bodies is just not up to snuff. I hate doing post processing for another thing. I tried bouncing some flash off of the white roof above, but no dice.

Anyways, this was a placeholder for the setting that my sister interviewed a Zamboni driver in. You can see them, a goal, and the Zamboni at center ice, and if you look *too* closely, you can see ghosting on them from the multiple shots. This is the highest row in the whole place.

Tonemapped in Photomatix for Aperture, 3 exposures. No clue what the settings were, I was trying to go for the most natural look...not sure if that's what I got.
